EVANGELIST JOE D. GIBBS OF THE STOP SIX CHURCH OF CHRIST IN FORT WORTH TX

Joe D. Gibbs, Sr. is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and has lived in Fort Worth for 48 years. He is married to the former Taryn Yvonne Mullins of Tulsa, Oklahoma and they have two sons, Joe Darrell, Jr. and Jermarcus; two grandsons, Joe Darrell, III and Marquise. Bro. Gibbs is a graduate of Southwestern Christian College in Terrell and Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, Oklahoma. He has done advanced studies at Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas and the Center for Christian Education in Irving, Texas.

He is a multi-talented preacher and has been serving the Stop Six Church of Christ for the past 26 years
